Gratings are manufactured from specially blened resin systems and are intended to outperform the conventional materials it is meant to replace for many years of dependable operation.
Their minimal maintenance requirements and long lifespan result in a much lower life cycle cost than steel, making them comparable to steel at the installation cost stage.
There are polyester, vinyl ester, and phenolic resin options for fiberglass molded gratings. All resin types are UV-stabilized and self-extinguishing.
For demanding applications, fiberglass molded gratings are created with a variety of mesh designs and surfaces.
